Review content:
After moving to the area in August, I began using Happy Cleaners for my dry cleaning and alteration needs. When preparing for two weddings this month(on back to back night), there was no doubt where I'd bring the dresses to be pressed and altered. I picked up the pieces the night before the first wedding and was very displeased with how the hem of one of the dresses had been pressed. Instead of the hem falling flat as it had, the hem was now noticeably puckered along the front and back. I drove back to the cleaners and requested it be steamed that night since the wedding was the following afternoon. I was told that was not possible, but I could pick up the garment the next day at 2 o'clock. At first, I agreed to return the following day but thought better of it and once again returned to Happy Cleaners to bring the dress to another, more accomodating establishment. Having been so frazzled by the sight of my brand new dress ruined the night before a busy wedding weekend, I neglected to get a partial refund for the $22.50 she had charged me. I went back to Happy Cleaners on my way home and requested, on principle, a refund of $8 to cover the cost of the pressing. The proprietor flatly refused and repeatedly told me to get out of her place. The way she spoke to me in front of other clients drove several customers out of the store. Do not bring your garments to Happy Cleaners, because you cannot trust that you will get what you paid for.
