Review content:
I lived here for quite sometime, always wanting to move. It's close to campus which is it's only convenience, but even that's not convenient in the winter months when they don't melt the ice in the parking lot so it's incredibly slippery past the point of being able to walk. It's a very old run down apartment building, like something out of the shining, not even joking. It has a dingy basement that anyone can have access too and with who knows what down there. The entrances are ""secured"" which basiacally is just annoying because you have to have friends call your cell phone anytime they want to come visit and then you have to run and get them...this gets very tiring when you live on the second story. Plus, i don't know if you could call this a safe place because you're windows will pop right off. I once had a random guy crawl into my window and walk right into my well lit living room. so right, that's safe. The place recently got new landlords, and they are the epitomy of laziness and money hungry. They'll keep your deposit after you move and then send you a bill of almost $300 more for cleaning charges, which is funny because I never knew they actually did work there, since my apartment was dirty when i moved in, i'd love to see the work they've done to charge that much. And I'm actually a clean person, if you're an average joe, that likes a little cluttter, beware they'll probably charge you a grand or some ludicrous amount just for them to do their job, what unfortunate landlords the owners picked when they chose them. Someone is getting screwed either way. I recommend if you're thinking about renting here, beware and find someplace else, there are many places, all of them better than University Manor just seconds away. You'll find they all have cheaper rent too, because the one thing the University Manor and it's landlords do best is screw you out of a lot of money. So, rent catiously, I warn you. Cons: bad landlords, expensive rent, poor ammenities, limited parking, old and rundown building, etc., etc., etc.
