I;ve eaten at the Capital City Chop House a number of times and have always loved it. Take anyone visiting there for special dinners and each and every one of them has loved it as much as I have. When I went on their website earlier this week to make reservations I read a number of the reviews. I was extremely surprised that many were negative. I'll agree that restaurants do change, however, couldn't imagine that since my last time there the CCCH could have changed to the degree that many of the reviews expressed. Well we went this evening - it was great.. Absolutely love the atmosphere - it's comfortable and everyone there makes you feel welcome. Have always found the waitstaff to be terrific - as usual, they were, The food - was just perfect - both the presentation and the taste. Still can't say enough good things about it - know that if you're go there (even just for a simple night out) everything about it makes it a special event. IT'S STILL THE BEST !!!.
