This place is a neighborhood gem. It's a tiny room usually filled during the weekends and not as packed during the week. I can only eat sea urchin and sweet shrimp from here. In fact, prior to this, I hated ebi and uni, that's how different fresh sashimi tastes versus frozen. The other usual sushi is good too. For some reason something as simple as the cucumber roll tastes so much better here than other places. My favorites are the halibut in vinegar and the kobe beef sashimi, which is not always available, very pricey but worth it. The owner is the head sushi chef. Service can get slow on weekends because it's so busy but it's worth the wait, just sip your sake and anticipate the melt-in-your-mouth sushi.
Pros: The freshest sushi and sashimi, and friendly service
