DO NOT BANK HERE! Don't believe a word that the bankers here tell you if you're considering opening an account. They outright lied to me about ATM fees. They told me ""wells-fargo never charges an ATM fee, even on out of network ATMs"". First bank statement I get all sorts of fees were present. And I'm not talking about the fee that the machine itself charges, I'm talking WF adds a fee on top of it. And I'm SURE I understood correctly, as they will no doubt say that I misunderstood, since it took an hour to open the account, I talked about these fees at great length. In addition, all sorts of ridiculous conditions were necessary to open the account. I called the banker, Damien, and asked why I was being charged these fees. He couldn't answer basic questions about my account, and said he'd have to call me back. Never got a call back. Closed my account one week later. In doing so I reported the problem to the manager of the bank. He says he would ""follow up"" but I got the impression he wouldn't. Reported the problem to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and asked for my $6.50 back. Some shmuck on the West Coast called and told me my fees wouldn't be refunded because the account was closed (as if they couldn't send me a check) and that I should've read the fine print. Glad to see that our tax dollars (bailout) are going to a bunch of petty thieves. I can't speak for all branches, but this WF branch are outright liars and petty thieves! Cons: Liars and thieves
