We came from Lewisville to meet on the Denton Square to purchase a CL item from a student. It was around Noon Sat. and we saw a hamburger shop. Upon interring the business, it was dark and smelled of mold. We should have left then, but the kids wanted some fries. You drop them in hot oil, they should be safe? As we waited in line we saw the cook handle trash, wiped their hands on their dirty clothe and went back to making burgers. The salad bar looked like it had never seen a temperature below 80 degrees and had something growing around what we thought were beans. After waiting 15 mins (they had no fresh fries at noon) we got our fries and they were cooked in old oil, and were gritty or dirty. We took the fries back and ask for some more and explained the problem. His reply was ""I clean tables; I did not grow the potatoes or cook them. As he reached a cross our table is butt crack was in my children?s face (yes he had no underwear and those low paints the kids ware, but he was old. His smelled like beer and smoke. As we got up to leave we saw the line double in size as their employees were walking out taking smoke breaks. Are there no health codes in Denton? This is what your Denton Square offers travelers from surrounding areas to come experience. WOW! Good luck with THAT!
