I was in Vegas for 4nights in March. I'm Thai living in the midwest with no real Thai restaurants so I wanted to try something that was real in Vegas. I went to one restaurant on the strip that claimed to have authentic Thai food, but I found that it had been 'Americanized' to suit western tongues. I finally hopped on a taxi with another friend of mine and headed to Chinatown for a little tour. We weren't expecting anything and at first wanted to try the Korean Grill restaurant but as we walked around we saw a little corner shop 'Noodle House'. And the first thing I noticed was on the door handle it said 'Welcome' in English and in Thai. My friend and I decided to give it a try. We were greeted with a smile from the waiter and sat at the table in the center. There were no more than 8 tables, yes it's really small. If you got up and looked over to the kitchen you can see how the food is cooked. We ordered the Thai beef meatball noodle and the tom yum noodle. My friend and I were blown away with the taste. We both tried each other's dish and liked both noodle dishes. And the price was very nice, only $6 a bowl! At the end I ended up ordering a chicken fried rice to go. Back at the hotel my friend and I finished the fried rice in no time. The food was very satisfying that we went back for 2 more meals before leaving Vegas. Now I'm sitting here missing those noodle dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Pros: Authentic Thai Food cooked by Thai cooks
Cons: small restaurant, limited seating
