Our evening began with a warm welcome from the hostess, and a very pleasant reaction to the interior design of the restaurant after a long and somewhat harrowing drive. The indirectly lighted reds and blacks are soothing, as are the wall textures, which the owner later described as bamboo imported from Japan and sandwiched between glass. The sushi chef greeted us on our way to the table, and wait staff was quick to take our drink order.
