We were begged to come inside this restaurant from the street by a nice woman. While inside we ordered a light lunch... little did we know how ""light"" it would be. For $9.95 we got the lobster ravioli appetizer. (And... yes, Mr Waiter, we are not stupid we know we ordered an appetizer.) The large plate arrived with one smallish ravioli in the middle surrounded by a plate of sauce. We are usually not rude, but we kind of chuckled out loud from the surprise of how ridiculous the ravioli looked in the sea of sauce. We followed the appetizer sample with oen of our often ordered favorite dishes, French onion soup. It arrived and was ample in portion but it smelled burnt ( I think instead on putting it under a broiler it had been torched like a creme brulee.) It lacked flavor other than the burning undertones and it had sliced Swiss on top and soggy white bread, not crusty french. We didn't eat it because the burn smell was too much. I paid for the over-priced under-valued ravioli (singular) and we left smiling at the woman who was still out on the street telling people how this restaurant had been written up in the Washington Post with a great review. My advice, smile and pass this place by.
