Review content:
We decided to test our recently purchased home for radon levels at the beginning of heating season. We tested @ ""16"" and the EPA-recommended maximum safe-level is ""4"". Since I work from home in my lower level office, it was critical to have a radon mitigation system installed. After screening three local radon mitigation system installers, we chose Radon Engineering Consultants (REC) based on knowledge, experience, installation warranty and price. The installation technician was prompt, courteous and left the job-site immaculate. Their installation warranty guarantees their system will reduce radon levels to ""3.9"" or below. Post-installation testing was an ""8"". One of their technicians came out to make some system modifications and was equally as professional as the installation tech. Next test reading was ""5"". No questions asked, they sent another technician out to our home who made some major modifications. Next test results were ""3"". REC paid for all three post-installation tests and the testing company they contract with, Precise Radon Testing Labs, was very professional and informative. In my opinion, REC delivered superlative customer service and stood by their warranty 100% hassle-free.
Pros: Local, committed to the customer, great installation methods, prompt and courteous service
