Review content:
I've been to Claim Jumper's on several occasions, and I have to admit to being disappointed almost every time. The beef ribs I ordered previously were skimpy and tough. Not worth the price I paid. The ""half order"" of chicken and biscuit I ordered was huge on biscuit, and very, very low on chicken. I had been warned that portions were huge, so I ordered what I thought would be a reasonable amount only to find that it was a little less than half a chicken breast and a huge amount of breading. Very disappointed. The bill for three people was over $70.00, and that did not include drinks other than iced tea, cola and coffee. The desserts were tasty, but again, over priced. (My husband and I shared one piece of carrot cake.) The service was excellent, and very attentive. The atmosphere was wonderful with plenty of rustic charm. Still...I have to say that I don't understand all the raves about huge portions and quality of food. I have had more food and tastier at Mimi's and for a LOT less.
Pros: Ambience, service
Cons: Value for the money, quality of food.
