Review content:
This is a two chair shop run by Russian immigrants, licensed, with additional American training. There is Ilya and his daughter in law Natasha cutting hair. What I like is very little chit chat, just cutting and clipping, with your chair facing the TV in the corner. In heavily accented voice he will greet you, ""How are you"", said with a smile"", short or regular? Block or tapered? Would you like me to trim your eye brows? Hairsray or cologne? Here is the mirror, you like? ""Thank you, have a nice day! A great cut, you get to hear probably all of his English. The shop is very clean, bright and airy and best of all a Men's haircut is $12. Can't beat it.
Pros: They are fast and very professional barbers. Park right in front, its in a small strip mall right on Southern between the 101 and McClintock in Tempe.
Cons: The old fashioned red and white barber pole is painted on the storefront window, only 2-D instead of 3-D, the only negative I can come up with.
