Will Never Go Back - Rude Manager - Unimpressive Course - Poor Facilities
Maybe my friend and I should have taken a clue when we were 1 of 3 or 4 parties on the entire course on a beautiful summer evening in August that this course was going to be a waste of our money. At one point during our game, on the 16th hole, the manager (who was also the only staff member on duty) of the place drove up to us on a golf cart and accused us of make some ""black streaks"" with our golf cart on a previous hole. Even though we told him we don't recall making any streaks and if we did, it was an accident, he didn't believe us and continued by scolding us. He made us stop our game and walk back to the hole by the marks so he could show them to us and scold us some more. It was in an area we never drove our cart and we were 100% positive we didn't do it, and we didn't appreciate stopping our game to be accused of it after paying to be on the course. Whoever did do it, it looked like a accident and a result of the course being very wet that day.The guys was a real jerk. I have no interest in ever giving him my money again. Very irritating.
Besides being treated poorly, the course was over all boring to play. Just take a look at the maps and you'll see what I mean. Most of the holes are straight par 4 shots without anything interesting happening. The fairways could have used some serious TLC. It's a fairly dinky course and I would say it certainly not worth the price.
There really is no clubhouse, just a 1500 SQFT (or so) log cabin that operates primarily as a bar. The place does not even have a credit card machine! I had to pay in cash - which meant that I had to use the ATM which, of course, charged me a service fee. The bar was completely empty as well for the entire night. When we left around 8:45 we were the only car in the parking lot. Don't waste your money here.
