Review content:
Really top notch all around. Wait staff are friendly, although we sit in our usual table now and only see one in particular. The vibe is good, energetic, and organic. I mean that in a lot of ways. Sure, in the traditional sense the food is sourced locally when possible, so is Chipotle from cross the street. But there is something cool about the building itself that Akasha is located in.
It has a sense of place that is inviting and warm, not at all cold or off putting. Perhaps the comfort food that fills the menu has a lot to do with that feeling. Gotta admit those sliders, mac and cheese, steak mmmmmm... wow. really good stuff.
Try the specials from time to time, haven't gone wrong yet. Sure don't expect to either!
