I was a patient of Dr. Kapust and really liked him & his staff until I had some eye & contact lens complications for 2 months, and finally went to see an ophthalmologist. His normally very friendly demeanor changed dramatically when I told him I made an appt. with an M.D and requested copies of my records. He didn't want to give them to me (although legally the patient's records are the patient's property). He also told me that he was now going to charge me retroactively for previous contact lens follow-up appts. that he earlier said were no charge (!). His staff also became rude to me. It appeared as if Dr. Kapust felt insulted that I was getting a 2nd opinion! Even though my eye health was at stake.
Also, he got my eyeglass prescription wrong and I walked around for 2 months getting headaches until the M.D. tested me and fixed the prescription (and diagnosed and corrected the other problems as well).
Would not recommend.
Pros: Flexible Appts.
Cons: Not for medical issues
