Review content:
Had a wonderful experience driving through Topanga recently, and came upon this French cafe. This small but beautifully decorated cafe reminds anyone lucky enough to have visited the south of France that indeed there exists a place that pays tribute to the beauty of Provence.
Gourmet coffees and teas. Organic pastries. Home made quiches and a wonderful menu of delicious sandwiches. I bought two sandwiches to take with me! The Roasted Turkey and Brie and the Tuna Nicoise sandwiches were really yummy. There are salads there as well.
The cafe is also a boutique, offering many unique gift items as well as some vintage French antiques. I wound up staying at Mimosa for over an hour, enjoying my latte along with a delicious 'pain de chocolate'!
Cafe Mimosa is like a breath of fresh air. For a brief moment, it helps you forget that the world outside has gone bonkers....
Pros: coffee, pastries, sandwiches
Cons: none!
