Review content:
I rarely meet a professional who is so unprofessional. Be prepared to wait for at least 3 weeks to get a yes or no answer from Elena. It feels like she has no respect for peoples time. During our first contact she asked what our submission deadline was, mentioned that she was very busy, but promised to look at our papers and respond with estimate by this Tuesday. Well, this Tuesday never happened. The next 2 weeks were spent by me trying to follow-up on our status by e-mail & phone. Every time Elena would offer fake apologies, saying that she was too busy, at the same time assuring that she would look into it this coming weekend. Eventually by the end of the 3rd week (and now pretty close to the deadline), after yet one more follow-up inquiry on my side, an e-mail came from Elena that she is too busy and it is not her niche. Since I have never worked with Elena, I cannot comment on the quality of her work. But whatever experience I had so far left me truly frustrated.
