Review content:
Parking at the LAB is tough, but if you are lucky enough to get a spot, the Gypsey Den is a good, cheap place to go to grab a salad or sandwich. The inside is sort of Boho, but heck, all the folks there are too (or alternative, or emo, or whatever they call it these days) and frankly, I like the change of atmosphere and people. Service is slow because they usually only have two waiters for the whole place. To be more specific: the food comes out of the kitchen quick, but drink your water slowly, because you won't get more. That isnt to say our waiter wasnt amazingly nice, though--he was great, just had too many tables. My favorite thing there is the Cranberry-Apple Salad, served with candied walnuts and goat cheese--the salads are huge. They also have casserole sized dises full of apple crisp and peach cobler, which look amazing. A good place to go and get coffee or chai later in the evening, too.
Pros: Good Food, Different Atmosphere, Friendly Service
Cons: Slowish Service, Often Busy
