This is not a trustworthy business at all. Smog check done by another mechanic would not go through because the new catalytic converter we paid Master Auto to put in our car ($528.44) showed as ""modified"". Took the car back to Master. After a lot of cleaning the part to find the number, the owner Karim making phone calls, searching parts books and waving down the guy in shop next door..... they conducted the smog check, adjusted the report (claiming visual ID)and it was done. Their mechanic showed me a very faint 08 on the part but everyone was acting so suspicious. Perhaps they are selling used parts??? Who knows. Another customer that was standing next to me and watching everything totally agreed that something was up, he said he would not return to that shop.
