Review content:
I just read the last reveiw posted on here titled ""Q4U but not for me"" and must say that I am completely astonished that they had a miserable experience and did not enjoy what has become my families favorite restaurant. Having traveled around the country since birth, I've had more than my fair share of BBQ with plenty of them claiming to be ""the best"". Searching for real BBQ here in Utah was continuously a disappointment for me until I read an article that was written about Q4U in the Salt Lake Tribune several weeks ago (i'm quite certain they know more than the last person who posted). Being an avid Tribune reader, I was quite surprised to see that they received a very complimenting write up considering that those critics have been pretty harsh to other places. Building up the nerve to try it out and praying I wasn't going to another place that boiled the meat and slopped it with sauce, I went to Q4U and found myself in BBQ HEAVEN. The ribs were the best I'd had in years. The combination of seasonings and smoke flavor enhanced the ribs so much there wasn't a need for bbq sauce, although I did try the sauces and enjoyed them both. The side dishes were great. You don't find too many places that serve collard greens, yams or black eyed peas unless I'm down south. Q4U is also the only place in Utah that knows was ""sweet tea"" is. Any takers?
Pros: Food, fast service, extensive menu
Cons: Location, they don't take reservations
