Review content:
Since joining Gold's Gym two years ago, I've had to contact this company twice. The first time I decided I wanted to change my billing from a credit card to my bank account. The process was as easy as cake, and I saw the change immediately the next month. Today I called to let them know I was cancelling my gym membership. I read my contract and new it would expire 2 years after I signed it. They referred me to Gold's Gym corporate office, and they told me that because I had a corporate account, I didn't need to call and cancel. It would expire itself. Obviously, you just need to be informed about what you're signing up and the terms of the agreement. Because I knew I had signed up for a 2 year membership, I knew I would have to let the contract expire before I could cancel without a fee. They don't hide this stuff from you. Not only did I read the contract before I signed, but the sales guy was happy to answer all of my questions. It's your problem if you fail to educate yourself and ask the right questions. Maybe not what you want to hear, but hopefully a lesson you'll apply in the future.
Pros: Nice, helpful employees.
Cons: Did not experience any.
