Review content:
My first two children were not born here, but we moved and had to go here. Dr. Hansen is a great doctor and his staff is SUPER QUICK with all their appointments. If you like to get in and get out quick - he is wonderful for that. Don't expect a long thorough visit, and most of the time you'll see his assistant, donna. (she's good).
The office is linked to the hospital, and the hospital was one of the worst experiences ever. The nurses were kind but were so busy we waited for every single thing we needed because they were overworked, and understaffed. Right after I gave birth they left me in my bed on full pitocin for 3 hours unchecked. I was in agony. My nurse had to go into an ""emergency c section"" and so it began... That happened to my next 2 nurses (so that was the story - or excuse rather). We wanted to check out and leave 24 hours after my normal vaginal delivery because I just wanted to get out of there and it took 7 hours just to do so. We left very distraught and exhausted that night.
The Doctors have interest and ownership in this hospital, so that is why I say about my birthing experience.
I really don't like to be so negative, but I know my experience was not the only one like this. It could have been so much better. I hope they make some changes. I am not having another baby but if I have the choice in the future I would not go there for anything.
Pros: Doctors are good
Cons: Nurse staff is overworked and understaffed
