Review content:
Kelly Fischer is not only an attorney in Binghamton, but also a landlord. When he was my landlord, he had promised to have the house clean before my roommates and I moved in (it was even in the lease) and he did not. It was disgusting. He promised to always call before entering the house (also in the lease), but came in multiple times without telling any of us. He is renting to students in an illegal zone (which he has been reported). To top it all off, after cleaning the house up and down, I was promised my security deposit. For 2 months I waited week after week. Each week, Kelly told me he put the check in the mail. And each week, it did not come. To this day, my roommates and I are being promised our checks, and they haven't come (we moved out 6 months ago).
I accidentally sent him 2 rent checks one month. He understood my mistake and confirmed that he destroyed the check. However, 3 months after moving out, I discovered that he tried to cash that very check he supposedly ripped up.
I cannot and will not comment on his skills as a lawyer, but if he is as tactless and dishonest as he is as a landlord, I'd steer clear. He comes off as a very nice man at first, but he is not. Don't let him fool you like he fooled me.
Pros: He is no longer my landlord
Cons: He is a liar and a thief
