This is a place to go for a special romantic evening. Make a reservation for one of the ""small front"" rooms. Nice view. Everything prepared fresh as you wait. Excellent shrimp florentine appetizer, superb large filet mignon wrapped in bacon, wonderful smaller filets with green peppercorn cream sauce. Veal in cream is excellent and very much one of their signature dishes. Nice, country classic atmosphere. Order wine and plan to spend some time. This is a no rush place. Lovely fireplace in one of the smaller rooms. Great cream sauces.
Pros: great food, lovely atmosphere, impeccable service
Cons: slightly pricey, but worth it, same with the time it takes to eat there.
