Review content:
I have been going to this place for over 20 years. I brought in 2 pairs of identical jeans (except for color) to be hemmed to a 32"" length. Cost was quoted as $12 each. The owner, called me to tell me that one of the pairs was already 32"". I told her to not hem that pair. She said that she would just press them. When I picked them up, the cost was $16.50 ($12 hemming for one pair, and an additional $4.50 for pressing the pair that wasn't hemmed...actually not something I really wanted since I never have jeans dry cleaned or professionally pressed). But of course I paid for it. I went home and tried on both pairs of jeans. They obviously were not both 32"" in length. I brought the one pair back (2 hours after I picked them up from the store) and told them to hem it a 1/2"". Cost: $12. Since I already paid $4.50 for them to be pressed, which is included in the price of hemming, I asked for that amount to be deducted from the cost and told them it wasn't necessary to press them again. She refused to deduct the amount. Had they measured the jeans correctly , I wouldn't have had this issue in the first place. I have crossed this place off my list. Two words for this place: Bad business.
