Review content:
I was a committed movie rental customer at Player's Choice for almost two years; I'm extremely disappointed to say that I won't return there again. I inadvertently forgot to return the last movie I rented only to find after just 21 days a $54 dollar charge for the movie - the equivalent of one month's utility bill. I take full ownership for failing to return the movie in a particularly insane month in which the rental slipped my mind. But, the manager's refusal to lower the fee is unnecessarily harsh. I work with customers in a small local retail business where our customer service operates quite differently - on the premise that mistakes do happen, that transactions with our business are not the number one priority of customers, and that each customer is valuable. I staunchly refused to use RedBox (where maximum late charge is $25) in favor of a local chain, but now I will take my business elsewhere!
