A few months ago, I saw the North Seattle ad for roller derby and thought that I might as well use my legs while they're still working. So I laced up after 28 years and thought I would just learn to take some hits! I've had so much fun, that I passed evals and am working on being faster, better and stronger. I can't thank Hot Flash and all of One World enough for giving me some of the best laughs I've had in a long time! Sometimes the best healing comes through having people around who are willing to knock you down and then pick you up again!
