Review content:
This pizza is second-worst only to Lomonte's There is no best in this neighborhood.
My 1st experience, a couple of years ago, was not too bad. But when I tried a second time---the crust is OK. Typical cheap toppings for the area. Cheese is cheap & oily, melts into a plaque rather than oozing like good cheese. My biggest complaint is that my artichoke hearts (cost extra) were literally a few tiny leaves, not a single ""heart"". Were they afraid I would not like it, so they did not want to use too much? I ordered artichoke hearts---I expected several. Luckily I had a jar at home so I sliced some up and rewarmed the whole pie on my pizza stone.
Totally lame excuse for a pizza. The people who work there do not have a clue what pizza should taste like. I guess a field trip to Naples, SF, NY, etc., is not going to happen. Pathetic.
