The facility itself is a 4. The ""1"" rating is related to the horrible experience we had with the company's owner, Swati. She cancelled our daughter's party because she was angry at us for requesting a change to our party reservation. We booked the party as we were coming out of another party at the location - a busy, loud setting to say the least. Without any prior knowledge of their policies, I booked a Classic party for a Saturday, which is for 15-25 kids. I didn't know how many kids we'd have, and said I'd get back to her to confirm which party size we needed. A week before the party, I called to say that we needed a smaller party size, as we only had 12 kids attending. She refused to change to the smaller/cheaper party, saying that their brochures & website are clear on their policy of only having the larger party size on the weekend. Since we weren't told anything about that at the time of the booking, I told her I was unaware of the policy & repeatedly asked if we could find an alternative - offering to split the difference between the cost of the 2 parties. She was nasty, cold, and refused to consider it. 2 hours later, she called & said she was cancelling the party. She then sent me a note, saying she'd offered me several options, & that I had used 'profanity' with her, all of which was a complete fabrication. What's clear is that she had another family with a larger size party who wanted that time slot. It's appalling that a woman who is running a business that's intended to make children happy would use a child's birthday party as a weapon against a parent who disagreed with her. In the end, she didn't hurt me, she hurt a toddler & all of her friends who were excited. Bottom line: great facility, but an amoral, cold owner who put money & a desire to punish a parent above a child's best interests. It's scary to think that people like this are in a child-oriented business. Pros: good facility Cons: Horrible ownership & business practices
