Trying to adopt a pet from the spca on peabody rd. in Vacaville was the worst experience i have ever encountered. They are rude, and have rules and regulations that make no sense. I can only say if you want to adopt a pet and give it a good home DO NOT GO THERE!!!!! They are much friendlier and nicer and helpful at the claybank rd shelter in fairfield. Where they appreciate you wanting to adopt and give one of their animals a good home!!!
