There is NO pool ! I dont know where people are thinking unless it is the swampy land to the north or the High School. Do you want your kids to major in drugs, alcohol, skipping class? Arnold is for you. The staff is rude, the majority of teachers pay more attention to their phones than their students. Ms. Patton actually expects her class to do their own study guide with the information coming from the other students which 1/4 of the time is incorrect. That puts your child getting a 75% in her class, that is not acceptable to me, how about you? The student counselors are not very motivated, they sit in their offices gossiping just like the lady administrators that you see. If you need a good story about your neighbor or their child - just have a seat a listen for a bit to the adult gossip - you will get your story and more. I think this if where they send the teachers that dont fit anywhere else - kind of like - Cant get a job? Try Arnold High School - they will hire anyone. Your students dont have to follow dress code, and the parents have to continually monitor every move you child makes. Hope you dont have to go out of town for business or family emergencies because when you return - AHS has changed policies and important dates without bothering to inform the parents. Make sure you find a friend that can fill in the gaps that you might accidently miss. Bathrooms are gross, gross, gross! My children would rather not go to the bathroom than go in the HS bathrooms where you find people smoking cigaretts to pot, where are the monitors? On their phones in their classroom - where else? I took my children out of this HS and now drive them over the bridge where they get a decent education with teachers that actually care.
