Review content:
It took years of frustration for me to have these people resolve a problem I had with my automated blinds. That doesn't take into account the numerous phone calls I had to make.
I used to have motorized blinds that were operated with a remote. Well, about half a year after they were installed, one of them no longer worked. After calling for about two months, they sent someone to come take a look. They claimed it was a battery that had to be replaced, and the technician didn't have any, so it would have to be ordered.
Month after month they couldn't obtain this battery. Then six months later they finally got it in. Technician arrives three weeks later, installs the battery. By this time, one of the other four blinds has partially stopped working as well, where it will only go up half the height and intermittently get stuck the rest of the way up or down. The technician moves a dresser by the window by dragging the whole weight of it across my hardwood floor, putting a foot-long gouge in it. He replaces the battery on the first blind. Still doesn't work. Now they claim it's the fuse that has to be replaced. Mind you, this is now a year later, and two blinds are no longer functional. The sales guy back at the office tells me not to worry about the floor, they'll bring along wood filler and a colored wax pencil to hide the damage the next time they come.
Half a year later, they tell me the motorized units operating the blinds are discontinued by the manufacturer. They are still looking for units elsewhere. I'm so fed up by this point, I ask them to come and just remove the motorized units, and replace them with manually operated blinds.
They come, take the motorized units and batteries, and I get stuck with a hefty bill for the blinds removal. After years of hassle dealing with them, there was never even an iota of apology, and they basically charged me for having faulty motorized units and a remote which they then took back and charged me additionally for swapping out for manual blinds.
Completing a rip-off -- the only reason I feel I got my money's worth is because I no longer have to deal with their incompetence. And no, they never did do anything about the floor damage.
Cons: Waiting, sloppy workers
