My husband and I, and our two small children didn't go to church for a couple of years after a heart breaking church debacle. We then started going to churches in our area, Thousand Oaks, and was having a difficult time making real connections. A friend invited us to Valley Metro, which is a drive for us to sherman oaks, but it has proven to be worth the drive. Everyone from day one was really warm and welcoming. The pastor is the real thing, teaches from the word and has a big ol' heart. The children's ministry is awesome and the worship is great, and only getting better. If you are trying to find a down to earth church, with a humble pastor and a kicking children's ministry give Valley Metro a shot. We love it here!
