It seems that people take time to complain about what we feel is a bad experience when dealing with people who make their living working with the public. Well I would like to take the time to compliment a very kind gentleman. Last Friday I was lost in Savannah, frustrated tired and about to break into tears. When I stopped at a gas station to ask for directions to the mall for the 3rd time. I Someone asked where I was from? I said Ludowici and that I was lost, and trying to get home I ended up in South Carolina. Mr. Deloach asked me why I wanted to get to the mall. I told him that's the only way I knew to get back home. He proceeded to give me directions and I guess the look on my face was of complete and utter confusion, he very kindly told me to follow him and he would get me on the highway home. If not for the kindness of Mr.Deloach I have no idea where I would have ended up that day. He took me to the highway and asked would I be ok from there? I offered him a monetary reward but he flat out refused it. Mr. Deloach's kindness saved my day. It's people like him that make Savannah such a nice place to visit. He deserves to be recognized for his kindness.
