Review content:
Our indoor central A/C unit stopped working in our Fort Greene apartment. The first company we called came out and told us they needed to replace the compressor and condenser fan motor. They could order the parts and take a week to get here. Since our water heater was blocking an access panel to the A/C unit, they said they would have to remove the water heater to gain access to the compressor and fan. At least a two day job with no hot water for over $8k. For a second opinion, I tried Teletemp. They came out right away and determined that the compressor was fine and just the blower needed to be fixed. Plus, the mechanic was able to remove the blower without removing the water heater. We only had to endure one more day without A/C before he returned and installed the blower. All at a fraction of the cost the first company wanted. Thanks, Joe! Pros: Fast, Reliable, Inexpensive
