Review content:
I used to go to Flamingo Tan in the same shopping center. I had purchased 100 minutes to see if I liked it and they were almost up and it was $100 dollars for a month of unlimited tanning in a level 4 bed, so I decided to check out other options before I committed. I'm VERY glad I did. Island Dreams Tanning was having a special for a month of unlimited tanning for only $24. I purchased a month without a second thought (who wouldn't with the comparison price being $100?!?). They don't have different level beds, but the only difference that I can tell is that you have to lay the entire 20 minutes instead of the 8 minutes in a level 4 bed to get the maximum amount of exposure allowed per visit. Now, for the good differences. 1 - obviously it's much cheaper. 2 - You can actually schedule appointments here. Sometimes at Flamingo I would show up and have to wait 30 minutes just to get into the bed I needed! 3 - Bottles of hand sanitizer are available in every room so that if you're applying a tanning lotion that you need to get off your hands (aka bronzers with DHA) it's very easy to do. 4 - The radios all have an extension where you can plug in your MP3 player (I use my Blackberry) and listen to your own music. Most tanning salons only have radio options. 5 - The staff is veeeery friendly and helpful. They even knew my name after just a couple of visits. Overall, Island Dreams Tanning is WAY ahead of the competition in my book. I think they often get overlooked because they don't look as ""Hollywood"" from the outside as other places. But trust me, if you check them out you will not be disappointed!
