I was referred to Soot Kaput by my Oil Co to get my chimney cleaned. Our first conversation was 2 weeks before storm Alfred, he took my name and number and told me he was going to call the following week to set up an appt. He never called. I called back the week after the storm and he asked I call him back the following day so he can schedule to come out and look at the chimney. I called the following day and he set up the appt. I sat and waited an hour for him to show up, when he didnt I called him. He gave me a few excuses as to why he didnt come and told me since the storm he has been so busy, when I said you could have called to let me know his attitude changed. I tried to explain to him it was not good customer relations not calling me and he got mad and said Im tired of people saying I have poor communication and he hung up. I am going to call my oil co and let them know about this as I am very disappointed with Soot Kaput. He prides himself on being in business for 27 years, I wonder how he survived that long with the lack of service. I would not recomend this company to anyone.
