Please beware if you're thinking of buying a Siamese or Oriental Shorthair kitten from this breeder/cattery because she keeps her cats and kittens caged. I say ?buyer beware? because I grew up on a horse farm around so many loved animals (pet rabbits, goats, dogs, cats, hamsters, horses, ponies, etc.) and I just especially love cats. I?ve had cats my whole life and cannot image my life without them. I?m especially fond of Siamese thus the reason I happened upon Joyce?s cattery ""Joy's Velvet Paws Cattery"" (or also known as ?Cats of Velvet Paws?) in Wayne, NJ. I was looking to purchase another loving pet as a new member of my family, but when I visited this cattery I was completely appalled at what I saw because her cattery consists of all cats (roughly between 15-20 kittens & cats) all being caged in an semi-finished basement of her home with a cement floor with no nice windows for outside light and view for the kitties - just dismal wall to wall cages (some cages next to the Washer & Dryer).
