I purchased a pool from the Namco pool store in Frederick one year ago. It is still in boxes since they don't give installer information until you lay out your payment. Unfortunately I did not pay by credit card or through their credit plan. The installer will not come to my house and install the pool, the customer service department at Namco has been less than helpful and have not responded to the emails I have been sending. I have asked for an installer that will install the pool or a refund and have not received any response. My only recourse is sites such as this where I can tell my story and hope it cuts down on their business. Research them, ask for references and don't let them do to you what they have done to me. Get that installer info first from any pool store if you don't think you will install the pool yourself. There are absolutely no independent installers around to install above ground pools. I have spent hours on the web searching in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and West Virginia and have only found stores that sell pools and have their own installers but they will only install for that store and the store won't give any info on who they use so I have no way to contact them. It looks like another hot summer and $2000 worth of pool sits in boxes around my house. Well at least I have a kiddie pool which I can soak my feet in. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM NAMCO, THEY ARE CROOKS!!!
