I should have known; very disappointed, but should have been expected. If you like McDonalds, then you?ll like the McDonalds of steaks ? Outback! I could have gone to the Penn Werner where I would have received a 20oz, slow roasted piece of prime rib for like $6 more, but I didn?t feel like the drive and wanted to stay close to Wyomissing. Plus I didn?t want 20oz which is the smallest they serve. So, what I got was a vacuum packed frozen MSG infused piece of meat; not horrible, but had no favor and bottled chemical laden au jus which came from the lab. After running out of pork and tuna appetizer at 8PM my partner had teriyaki tips; YIKES those were bad. They tried say they were fine, as a teriyaki fanatic, these were one?s someone found in the back of the ridge undated; the meat was spoiled. Also, too many flavors on the plate, bacon spiced green beans, spiced meat and spiced rice. VERY BAD DISH. Now we told them about it and WE refused to take or ask for any discount or reduction; just wanted them to know it was BAD! Chopped and Caesar salads were good. Overall expected, except for the spoiled tips; typical of a chain. I should have known better and drove out to the Penn Werner where the prime rib would have been slow roasted fresh on the bone. Oh well a reminder is take more time, spend a little more and eat MUCH better. Quick and easy; you get what you pay for.
