Review content:
After being referred by my Kaiser primary care doctor to this place for anxiety / depression issues, I had no idea where this place was and did a search for ""Sherman Terrace Kaiser"" and came across this page. I emailed her back to say, ""This place has horrible reviews! Is there anywhere else I can go for ""mental health services"" within Kaiser that, A. Would be closer to either my workplace or home, and B. Some place that has SOME positive feedback?!"" The answer was, essentially, ""no"". Kaiser has an astonishing lack of locations to go to for anything mental health related, and that's a problem.
However, I was very pleasantly surprised by my two trips thus far to the Sherman Way offices in Reseda. I was REALLY skeptical and nervous, but I met with a really great psychiatrist today who was warm and neither coddling nor judgmental. I felt very comfortable with her from the start. I know everyone has different experiences - I have met with my fair share of strange to downright questionable psychiatrists. There are definitely a few bad doctors out there, for sure. I happened to find a good one today, Dr. Feinfeld. I just wanted to write a review (which I never do) because I had a really positive experience here, and left feeling a lot better and more hopeful than I did a few days ago. I realize there's a hugely vast range of mental/emotional issues we all seek help for. But as someone dealing with (not severe) depression and anxiety disorder, I had a pretty good experience.
