Review content:
Gennaro?s Ristorante is my favorite restaurant in Glendale. It's hard to find it, but definitely worst your time.
I've been many times and never had a dish I didn't like. Their raviolis are always amazing. The meat and fish options are a bit out of my price range, but if the pasta and appetizers are any indication I am sure they are delicious as well.
I am always amazed by the waiters who spit out a monologue of specials, each one more drool-worthy than the next. My only complaint is that usually there are so many that I can't remember the first few by the time we get to the end, but as long as the waiter doesn't mind repeating himself we're good to go.
I went for my birthday this year with my family and we had an amazing time. They remembered me from my previous visits and was overly generous with our wine pours - but I didn't mind! The bur rata appetizer was melt in your mouth perfection and per usual, I ordered one of the ravioli dishes for my main which was awesome.
Pricey for Glendale? Yes, definitely. But with food and service like that, it's definitely worth the trip for a special occasion and as authentic as authentic Italian can be.
My suggestion is to make the journey!
