Best Greek restaurant in Lake county, FL. Takis has been around a long time and they've always provided fast, friendly service with a cozy atmosphere. It's an old school Greek restaurant with lots of pictures of Greek themes, murals, and the blue and white color scheme. But that's not what we're here to talk about. The food , in my opinion, is top notch Greek or Greek influenced fare. My favorites are the Gyros sandwich and the Greek pizza with all fresh ingredients: black olives, feta cheese, tomatoes, lamb on a very thin, light crust. One word:AWESOME!
The Greek salad is a must. Always fresh and tasty.
If you're looking for an authentic Greek flavor in Leesburg, this is the place!
Pros: the food and handy, dandy take out window in restaurant
Cons: possibly a bigger dining room and update on style
