Review content:
This was my first visit to Ft.Walton/Beach, and I was moved my the natural scenic beaches and crystal blue waters. My partner lived here around twenty years ago, and suggested ""Pandora's"" for dinner. It was no longer in the same location, but in a beautiful new building across from The Boardwalk Pavillion Center. Entering was like going into a private gents club, dark paneled walls, private booths and white tablecloth. It's family owned, and has been a mainstay in the area for over thirty years. Our server arrived at the table, and one look, and my partner remembered him from over twenty years ago. It was like a family reunion. Alan, our server, quickly brought our Dirty Grey Martini's, with a loaf of freshly made bread, that was still warm. While the house specialte's are steaks and prime-rib, we opted for a selection of the fresh gulf seafood. Right on target was the grilled amberjack with lobster sauce, and my broiled stuffed red snapper. After dinner we went into the adjoining lounge for a nightcap, and met the most personable bartender. She was a doll. And a combo was playing standards, and couples were dancing. We could not stop talking with all the wonderful people we met. We know where we will be going on our next vacation, and ask for Alan at ""Pandora's Steakhouse and Lounge"". Pros: Classic Steak/Seafood House! Excellent Food! Cons: No Valet Parking, But Who Cares!
