Review content:
I interviewed some of the top designers in the city to do our home, and Karen just felt like the right fit. She doesn't advertise; all of her business is either repeat clients or referrals. Even though she keeps things low-key, her clients are some of the most notable people in the city (though she'd never name-drop). She designs because she loves to, not because she needs the job. She is extremely flexible style-wise, executing everything from ultra-modern to country cabin with the same great eye for detail. On a personal level, she is the one designer I interviewed that was NICE! There is no diva attitude here. She listens to what you want, and form always follows function. Our house feels like a beautiful home, not a museum (although she could probably do ""museum"" if that's what you like!) If you can get on her schedule, do so! I know we'll never use anyone else again.
Pros: super nice, briliant designer
Cons: usually busy, but once you're a client you feell like you're the only one
