Review content:
This is the place I bring my guests. The injira is freshly made to order, still warm and yeasty, but not super sour. The sambusas and veggie combo are better than anything else I've had at an Ethiopian place in town, and the freshly made donuts are unbelievable. Everything is organic, and the owners toast and grind their own spice blends, and chop the herbs rather than putting everything in a blender, so each bite is a little different. The owners themselves serve, and are always very warm and conversational. The meal is finished off with a few drops of refreshing rose water on your hands. The recipes are Eastern Ethiopian, so they're a little different from other Ethiopian places, and in my opinion, much, much better.
Pros: Excellent service, delicious recipes, fresh injira
