This October we left our dog at The Pet Shack Resort for eight days. When we picked him up we learned that they had doubled one of the seizure prevention medications he gets for epilepsy. He was very groggy, and during his stay we think he fell and reinjured a hip that he has had problems with in the past (likely because he was so groggy from the overdose). Anyone who has dealt with epileptic dogs knows that they are very sensitive to their medication. As of now it is two weeks later and our dog is still not right. We also were able to determine that they doubled a second pill (just a vitamin) by the fact that they ran out during his stay. They should have had enough for the entire time, but ran out after 4 days.
