Review content:
We took friends to the Bistro for lunch in August during an afternoon vineyard tour. The look of the restaurant is very lovely and inviting. Unfortunately, the food does not match. My French onion soup was too sweet, not served hot enough and served in a ridiculously large bowl. The rest of the dishes served to the table were totally unremarkable (or worse). It is too bad the Bistro did not live up to its look. A restaurant such as the Dundee Bistro tries to be would be a very welcome addition to this area.
Pros: lovely atmosphere, outdoor seating, near wine region
Cons: listless food, unresponsive service
