I stopped by Salon Lavonne for a lunch hour appointment. I had seen a picture of Adele and I wanted her bangs - bad. Being the impatient imp that I am, I called in the morning to get an appointment for that afternoon and was set up with Monica Evenson. First, the salon is really lovely... It has a really expensive yet comfortable feel to it. Monica was GREAT! She respected that I wanted a minimal amount cut off of my length and cut my bangs EXACTLY as I wanted them. I had told her of my hair woes and all the bad experiences I'd had with bangs and she promised me that I wouldn't get any of that here, just a haircut I'll love... and she was right! The appointment went for about an hour and a half and cost a lot more than I'd usually pay but for me, it just goes to show that the extra time and money is totally worth it! This will now be the only place I go to get my hair cut!
