Review content:
What I treat, my wife and I thought, a new italian restaurant in quaint downtown Hillsboro. Dinner and a pleasant drive in the country. Let me first state that the wait-staff did their best and were pleasant. To them I give thanks. We lived in New York for over thirty years and I know the cuisine well. Quite frankly, I've had better food at ""Italian night"" at a greasy spoon buffet than there. Pasta was done unevenly, and sauces that come from outdated generic cans taste better. My sensitive wife overheard what she said was a severe scolding given to a member of the wait-staff, which she described as a terrible over reaction. She lobbied to cancel and leave then, I talked her into at lease trying the food. My mistake. Management problems seem to be the culprit. Try Tresca when you see a new management sign, not until. Sorry folks, but that's the way our experience (ordeal) went. (:-[ )
Pros: Nice drive out to Hillsboro
Cons: Needing to get a deli sandwich after paying for a meal
